Happy Monday! The weather this weekend was pretty perfect – warm and beautiful – but definitely still hasn’t transitioned into fall weather quite yet. I’m patiently waiting to wear my leather jackets and scarves but I will soak up the sun in the meantime. And I did exactly that this past Saturday while spending some quality time outside with my dear friend Stephanie who is moving back to Seattle today. (I’ve known her since I was 16, when we met in high school during choir practice!) I’m so sad to see her go, but luckily I’ll still get to see her a lot when I go back home to Seattle every few months.
In the early afternoon, we wandered down Bleecker and checked out the different street vendors, then made our way to Stick, Stone and Bone, which is a really neat shop. I left with some candles, sage and a couple beautiful crystals. Afterward, a group of us went to the East Village UCB to see some improv, then Casey and I ran over to Champagne Charlie’s to wish Grace a Happy Birthday! (Alicia also celebrated her Birthday on Saturday and yesterday was Helena’s Birthday! So fun!)
Sunday I headed out to McCarren Park in Williamsburg for a little goodbye party for Stephanie and Grant (her husband), then finished up my evening at home on the couch sneaking bites of Magnolia Bakery’s Banana Pudding while watching movies and working on my computer.
Hope your weekend was great and here’s to a happy and productive week! xo
