Boy was it hot yesterday. I feel like all I’ve been talking about is the crazy humid weather, but when the weather widget on my phone says “feels like 104,” I think it’s worth mentioning. The roof isn’t made of tin, but it sure was hot!
Now, onto the outfit…these shorts are definitely short, but when you are running around in the elements all day, sometimes bare is better. I plan on pattern mixing these shorts, probably with some stripes and a bold pattern scarf—two items I recently picked up at H&M—but am not sure I will be able to pull this off until it drops about 15 degrees.
It’s true that I didn’t wear these heels all day, but instead, I slipped them on after running all my errands. They seem to go with everything—neutral shoes are key—and I’ve definitely been getting a lot of wear out of them.
I can’t explain to you how incredibly happy I am that the weekend is here. Tomorrow I am headed out of the city with A and some of our friends, and I couldn’t be more excited. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend, and I’ll see you on Monday! xoxo
