My new earrings (gifted) from Emily Elizabeth Jewelry. Aren’t the bows cute?
I finally managed to get a very full bun even though I have fairly fine hair. If you guys are interested in learning this trick, let me know…I will do a mini hair tutorial!
The shot above is a very special photo to me. Many of you might not know this, but I was a dancer all my life. The passion started when I was seven and has never ceased to be a part of me. I wish I danced more than I do now, but hopefully that will change soon. I am not bragging, but seeing this photo showed me that even though I have had to put my dancing shoes to side for a while, I still can leap in the air and hold a graceful form.

(When I got dressed to head out, I knew I wanted to wear something that felt autumnal, so I went with a chunky knit, corduroy, tweed with rust/brown accents. I think the final look came out quite nicely.)
So there you have it. A little photo montage from our day in Cold Spring, NY. It is such a quaint town, and so beautiful and quiet! I can’t believe that small towns like this are only an hour away from the bustling streets of Manhattan. We agreed that we need to get away more often and a quick train ride along the Hudson is just the solution anytime we need a break from the craziness of the city.
I hope you all had a great weekend and have a happy Monday! xoxo
