RayBan Sunglasses / Fred Flare Necklace / Charley 5.0 Denim shirt (c/o) / H&M Tank / Patagonia Leggings / Aldo Boots / Top Shop Trench (thrifted from Beacon’s Closet)
Happy Friday! Have you guys heard about Aldo’s dance contest that is currently taking place? Well, if you haven’t, you can read about it here, and you still have a few days left to enter, so hop (or dance) to it! To get a little inspiration, you can check out Jenni and Claire’s cute videos here and here. I actually created a little video myself, which I will share with you soon, where I am dancing around my courtyard in these lovely boots I’ wearing. (P.S. They are now sale!)
I love, love, love these boots. They are what I have been looking for forever and so when they arrived on my doorstep, you can imagine my squeals of delight.
I went with a pretty simple ensemble in order to showcase le boots. But honestly, what’s better than stripes (my favorite thing to wear) leggings (if I could live in this Patagonia pair, I would) and staples like a denim shirt and trench? If you ask me, it seems like a pretty flawless combination if you want to be comfy-casual-cute.
{ I have to give a little shout-out to my beloved Botkier Trigger bag. This was the first real bag I bought myself when I moved to New York in 2004. I snagged it at a sample sale six years ago and it has held up beautifully. The leather still looks new and the zippers work perfectly. So, if you’re listening Monica Botkier, know that I think you have done a stand-up job at creating quality handbags, so thanks. }
I hope your weekends are filled with lots of sleep, tons of yummy food and time spent with friends and loved ones. I am hanging out with my cousins who are visiting from Westport, MA and couldn’t be more excited. We are going to do lots of touristy activities, like shop on 5th Avenue and take a carriage ride through Central Park. Yay for Christmas in New York! xoxo
