Good morning, and happy Tuesday! I am very excited to share these shots that Laney took of me yesterday because of the beautiful golden light that was present during our shoot. Light makes all the difference and I’m always envious of the sundrenched photos that Californian bloggers often have. In order to grab some of this magical light outselves, Laney and I have come to realize that the “golden hour” is around 4:30 or 5 when the sun is setting and reflects beautifully off the Hudson.

I stood on this grate completely unaware that gusts of wind were about to begin billowing up, blowing my skirt in every direction. We decided it was funny and just went with it. I’ll admit, it was fun feeling like Marilyn Monroe for a few moments.
“A” calls this my “Curious George hat.” Whatever, I love it. Plus it was $13 at H&M. Can’t beat that!
