Played around with the camera a bit last night, as the light was beginning to fade into a beautiful sunset. (Thank you, Sophie, for hosting me and for taking my photos for the past two days. Love you!)
I feel like such a lucky girl getting to stay by the beach the last couple days. My close friend Sophie has been hosting me at her house in Manhattan Beach since Tuesday, which is a block from the sand and sea. And, as some of you might know, I am a Cancer, (huge water sign) so being able to walk to the water everyday has been an absolute treat.
I wore this outfit to dinner last night to Darren’s, last night, where we indulged in the lobster chowder, and ravioli, and where I was surprised by a glass of traditional absinthe by Sophie’s boyfriend, Alex, which added quite the kick to my meal. (For those of you that have never had it, if you like licorice, you will like this drink as well as my other favorite, Pastis.) All in all, it’s been a great couple days in LA – so here’s a big thank you, Sydne, Sophie and Alex. xo
