I’m spending a few days in LA before heading directly into fashion week in New York, which means I am soaking up as much sun and relaxation as I can before the magical madness begins. As far as this outfit is concerned, when I’m at the beach I love to wear my bathing suit and jean cut-offs, but I also love to dress up and feel girly. I have always loved a good juxtaposition and this outfit definitely represents that for me – a beachy maxi dress paired with a structured blazer and high heels. Something you wouldn’t think would be oceanfront appropriate, but when headed to dinner with friend for drinks and appetizers, somehow in my opinion, it works. The unexpected is always the most interesting, right? :) Happy Fashion Week, everyone! xo
