I apologize for the lack of photos in today’s post. I had people in town on Saturday and was so busy running around showing them the city that I forgot to bring my camera with me and capture everything we did. But on Sunday, I actually remembered to pop it in my bag before heading to Pier 5 in Brooklyn to check out Smorgasburg. This particular one is located right on the waterfront with a spectacular view of the city. It was pretty hot out yesterday, so we grabbed a couple whole coconuts to stay hydrated, some schnitzel sandwiches from Schnitz (we both opted for the Bamburg) and parked ourselves in a little shady spot right off the pier.

Plus a quick recap of how I spent my Saturday…
Headed up to the High Line for a nice walk along the Hudson from Little West 12th to West 30th.
Stopped by Terroir after our walk for a refreshing glass of rose.
Met friends nearby at FC Gotham to watch the World Cup, England vs Italy game.
Grabbed a yummy dinner at Fonda in the East Village.
Saw a hilarious show by the improv group “What I Did For Love” at Upright Citizens Brigade East.
Once again, it was a great weekend! I wished I could have spent Sunday with my Dad for Father’s Day, but I look forward to August when I get to see my family again. So, in the meantime, I just want to say a huge thank you to my Dad, for being the best there is – I am one lucky girl. :)
Hope you all had a great weekend and here’s to a fantastic week!
