Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. I feel like it flew by but it was nice to just hang out with Casey and the kitty and enjoy the perfect weather we had in New York. Fall is finally making an appearance!
So onto the outfit. I recently partnered up with Sunglass Hut to be a part of their Punk It Up campaign and was asked to style up a pair of their leather Ray Ban Wayfarers, sharing my take on what London Punk means to me.
I worked off of this behind the scenes image from the photo shoot to show where my inspiration came from. I love how her hair is swept off to one side and is sort of messy.
I know, I know, you might not think “punk” when you think of me, but believe or not I love creating an edgier outfit from time to time and that’s what is so fun about fashion! You can change your look just by altering your clothing and makeup. But of course, I obviously still wanted my outfit to be authentic to me, just spunkier, so I styled my look around leather, plaid and red lipstick. I tousled my hair, wore a cat eye and kept everything else really simple and straightforward so as not to overwhelm the overall look.
If you live in New York, make sure to check out the Sunglass Hut SoHo Pop-in shop, which connects NYC to their London Fashion Week sponsorship and was totally recreated for consumers to touch and interact with the Sunglass Hut PUNK IT UP campaign. And for every purchase at the SoHo location, an exclusive tote bag designed by Gareth Pugh will be given away for a limited time only, so go check it out!
