It’s amazing how accessories can really affect an overall look don’t you think? In this case, the flats helped dressed down the outfit above, whereas in this post (and photo below), the heels and sunglasses (not to the mention the faux fur :) gave it a more elevated feel. I kept the jeans, tank and bag the same to maintain some continuity.
