I don’t normally opt for bows on my clothing, (nothing against them, they just aren’t usually my personal style) but for some reason, I was drawn to this top. Maybe it’s because I don’t have a ton of girly clothing? Or maybe it felt like a nice addition to my otherwise simple and straightforward wardrobe, who knows. I have always loved this color but haven’t worn it since my internship back in 2004 (you guys remember those stretch perfect shirts from Express in this same periwinkle blue color, right?) so it felt like a fun, updated throwback.

As we get deeper into summer, I think pairing it with white jeans and gold sandals will look super cute and fresh looking, but for this situation I wanted to go a bit dressier so I kept everything else monochromatic and let the tank be the focal piece.
