Happy New Year! Any fun plans for tonight? I am heading to dinner, then off to a little get together at a friend’s house. Even though the evening will be fairly low key, I always love to dress up and will use any excuse to do so. But, to be perfectly honest, I always kind of dread having to look for dresses for these occasions because most of the options are either sleeveless or strapless. Both of which I cringe at, especially during the winter when I am pale and my arms always feel out of shape. I feel like everyone has something about themselves that they are critical of, whether it’s rational or not, and mine are my arms, but with that said, this year I am working hard at accepting how I look when baring my arms and shoulders in strapless and sleeveless pieces. And now after teaming up with Dove (read my previous post here) and using their go sleeveless Soothing Chamomile Deodorant, I am slowly but surely changing my attitude and embracing revealing my arms in sleeveless styles.
I have used their deodorant for as long as I can remember and have always loved how it doesn’t affect my sensitive skin, but instead makes it softer. Dove go sleeveless Soothing Chamomile contains Vitamins E and F and actually provides me with softer, smoother skin in just 5 days. It is the first thing I use before getting all dolled up because I know I’ll get the skin care benefits plus 48 hours of protection (you can check out Dove’s Facebook page to learn even more by clicking here), which now brings me to the next part of this post, my outfits! Here are two dress options I am thinking about wearing. Which look is your favorite?
