I have to say, this skirt is the most lovely thing to wear. Not only is the fabric stretchy and has great movement, but I felt a lot like a princess when I wore this little get-up yesterday and strolled around the neighborhood with Keiko. The only issue is, I am only 5’4″ and this skirt is pretty high-waisted, which is not a problem if you are tall and lanky, but when you are a shorter girl with some curves like me, you might have to work with it a bit to make it look just right. What I would suggest when dealing with high-waisted, midi skirts when you are of the more petite stature: Showcase your waist, wherever is flattering on your shape, don a high heel, which will give you length, and lastly, opt for a fairly fitted top, whether it’s a tee you tuck in, or a classic button down that you tie in the front. Then pair with a bright lip and bag, et voila, you’re all set! xo
