Spent some much needed time at the beach yesterday. I was lucky to grow up about a block away from the water and it still has such a calming effect on me.
(Also, I’m super in love with this chunky scarf I just picked up from H&M. It looks like it’s sold out online right now, but they seem to still have them in stores.)
Barney cuddles!
Bubbly and Christmas movies with the best friend. Can’t believe we have known each other since we were 7-years-old.
Festive poinsettias at Swanson’s Nursery, and my new loafers from Everlane. :)
Real live reindeer! I had never seen one before and was in total awe. Don’t worry, they were well taken care of and seemed very relaxed and happy.
My parents and I went and checked out the new Starbucks Reserve Roastery & Tasting Room last week, and I have to say, it was pretty impressive. I am all for independent coffee shops and roasters, but let’s be honest. I was born and raised in Seattle, so I do still feel some loyalty to Starbucks.
Me and Barney taking a rest after helping Mom decorate the tree. He is actually laying on top of me. If you look by the leg of the coffee table down on the left, you can see my slipper. His head and upper half of his body are resting on my stomach and legs. He’s so funny!
I love red wine in the winter. Helena also loves it when I switch over to red from my usual Sauvignon Blanc, haha.
Spotted this amazing coat while in Nordstrom and just had to have it. Don’t worry it’s faux, but still so soft and cozy.
SWOOOON. (Especially the one on the top left.)
Wore this funny holiday turtleneck to an ugly sweater party. It has little skiing bears on it, which made me smile. I paired it with red pants, tied a chunky cream turtleneck sweater around my waist, and topped the look off with a red bow in my hair. Classy as can be!
The love bug, ready to play.
Me and my 98-year-old grandmother, Ruthie, out for a little walk, taking in the sights. :)
My parents surprised me with a ticket to see the Seattle Men’s Chorus perform their annual holiday tradition, “Our Gay Apparel.” It was phenomenal. We all left laughing, singing and really feeling the spirit of the holiday. Thanks, Mom and Dad, I had a blast! xo

Well, that’s all for now from my current neck of the woods.
Hope you are enjoying the holiday season wherever you are.
Merry (almost) Christmas! xoxo
