Can you believe it’s already June 2nd? That means, it will officially be summer in 20 days, and my Birthday in 23 days, eek! But even though sunny days are on the horizon, the next couple of weeks can be fairly up and down in temperature, especially in the evenings when the air cools down…Living in New York, I am always on the lookout for that perfect transitional piece, which tends to come in a form of a jacket, which I recently found thanks to Fauxgerty, a great brand located in St. Louis. Not only do they have really awesome faux leather jackets (I LOVE this one, which I wore here) but they also have great soft tanks and cozy sweatshirts, perfect for days when layering is necessary.
I first heard about Fauxgerty in February when I attended an event Keiko hosted during Fashion Week and I remember drooling over the rack of faux leather jackets that were displayed. Little did I know that just a handful of months later I would be working with this fabulous brand and get to spend time at their cute shop in St. Louis located in the Central West End.
In mid-may, another blogger, Nicole Alyse, and I flew down to collaborate with Fauxgerty and photographer Ashley Kuenstler to do a fun photoshoot around town where we visited some favorite local spots like Boward Farms, Union Loafers and Olio.
