I was first introduced to Chloe Wine at a “Dinner in White” popup event in Brooklyn at Prospect Park this past June and really enjoyed their rosé, so I thought it would be fun to feature it for my second Wine Wednesday series!
There is a great little French restaurant called Tartine in the West Village that is one of the last BYO places in the city so it was a perfect place to sit outside and sip on some pink wine. Krystal met me there and we snacked on truffled burrata, spicy tuna tartare and buttery escargot, which all paired really with the wine.
Wine notes: The Chloe rosé is crisp and fairly light, which makes it easy to drink especially when it’s 90 degrees outside! It is Pinot Noir-based but is a pretty light pinky-peachy color with notes of fresh strawberries, raspberries and watermelon on the nose and palette. It’s the perfect “summer water” to sip during the warmer months and pairs nicely with slightly spicy or aromatic food. If you’d like to purchase a bottle to try for yourself, click here! xo
