I bought this faux leather skirt from H&M back in 2011, which makes it 6 years old, but it’s still one of my favorite pieces I own…
I haven’t worn it lately, so I felt it was time to bring it out from the archives and create an outfit around it. Because of the high waist and full skirt, it can be a bit tricky to style at times because I have a larger chest, but I’ve found that fitted tops work better than blousier ones, which overall help even out the proportions.

A tip on keeping leather or faux leather in tip top shape: Fold the item inside out so that the material isn’t exposed. If hanging, do the same so that the marks from the pant or dress clips won’t show on the waist.
