I have to be honest, when we shot this outfit, I was feeling really uninspired and threw this look together pretty quickly before running out the door. My Mom always says, you can’t go wrong with black and white, and after getting the photos back I actually liked what I put together, so I glad I listened and took her advice!
In other news, here are some random things I’ve been loving lately…
I just started watching Schitt’s Creek and am loving it. Have you guys watched?
I always wear Le Labo’s Santal 33 but have recently started layering Diptyque’s ‘Eau Rose on top of it and love the combination of the two scents.
Maybelline sent me a bunch of liquid lipsticks and I’ve been loving the shade “coffee buzz” because it feels so moody and very 90s.
I’m planning on writing a longer post about this soon, but have you guys ever taken The Class? I’ve been three times now and have already booked my fourth class for this Sunday. I’m SO hooked.
After reading Helena’s post, I purchased a Jade facial roller and now keep mine in the fridge so that when I use it, it’s extra cooling and soothing.
I have no idea how this happened, but I somehow misplaced my favorite black Nike sneakers that I wear to the gym. I finally replaced them with these, and love how light weight, breathable and perfect they are for workout classes.
Do you guys meditate? On Sunday night I attended a mass meditation by Kit and Ace x The Big Quiet above the clouds at One World Observatory, atop the tallest building in the Western hemisphere. Over 1,100 people enjoyed the meditation led by Latham Thomas which featured a sound bath by Sara Auster, string performance by Jenavieve Varga, an acoustic performance by Leah Siegel, and a choral performance by The Gospel for Teens. It was truly amazing.
Recently someone asked me how I keep track of how much water I drink during the day and after buying one of these as a joke, I actually found that it works really well because each one holds three cups of water. I try and drink two of them a day and then at night, I keep one by the nightstand and the other one in the fridge so that I have fresh, cold water in the morning. Win, win!
