Happy Tuesday everyone! As my readers, you guys know I LOVE sunglasses and will wear a pair any chance I get, even if it’s raining outside. So you can imagine my excitement when I partnered with Colors In Optics to style 6 pairs of their sunglasses to represent 6 different neighborhoods in New York City: Upper East Side, Upper West Side, Gramercy Park, Soho, Tribeca and the Lower East Side. Let’s dive in!
Upper East Side
For the glamorous girl living on the Upper East Side, this oversized brown tortoise style called the “Theresa” is just the accessory to top off her polished elevated ensemble as she makes her way to lunch with friends.
Upper West Side
This gal is on the go – a well-dressed Mom that still wants to look effortless and fun! The “Stutz” sunglasses with their cheeky reflective lens pair perfectly with her look, and can easily transition from chasing her kids at the playground to play dates at the park!
Mid-Town East
Polished and classic with a no muss fuss attitude, this career minded woman is all about timeless style. Whether she is running to a business lunch or an early happy hour, the “Benz II” sunnies fit the bill, with their large tortoise frame and understated elegance.
SoHo
Whether she is popping between casting calls or coffee dates, this hip young thing will never leave her place without her “Lunar” sunglasses in hand. The combination of the slightly oversized frames paired with the all black traditional aviator shape screams downtown cool.
Tribeca
This artistic trendsetter is all about comfort and style, and loves the classic feel of the “Stellar.” The unexpected blue reflective lens paired with the old school shape feels refreshing and on trend.
Lower East Side
This chick is too cool for school. Whether she’s off to class or heading to a café to study, she rocks these contemporary, hipster “Bowie” glasses, with their circular frames and their colored lens, which fit perfectly with her playful personality.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post as much as I had fun making it.
