What They Wore: Amit and Rose
Where: Salt Bar and Vig Bar
Why: Ashley’s (my roommate) Birthday Bash!
I love these two outfits. Both of them are wearing basic pieces but the subtle touches take their ensembles to another level. Amit executed his look with a simple knotted scarf hung loosely around his neck, which he paired with his awesome Justin Timberlake-esque vest (total compliment in my book btw) and a basic button down. Positioning dark against light creates a nice contrast. Rose does something similar with her simple black dress: she opts for a caramel-colored rustic belt and gold vintage-looking jewelry. The two colors really pop against the black, and I like how she topped off her look with tall black boots, which makes the outfit more interesting and fun.
