It’s day 9 of the Remix Challenge, and I’ll admit, thinking of creative ways to spice up this little black dress can prove to be tricky at times. So, today, I decided to have some fun. Let’s just say I pulled out my new bow tie and sparkly tights, and got a little playful. Have I piqued your curiosity yet? Yes?
This outfit grew entirely from the new bow tie I picked up the other day from Buffalo Exchange in Ballard. It was $4 and I love it. I played off of it and created a sort of Chorus Line/circus/magician/Britney Spears-ish look, all mashed together. Anyway, it felt very fresh and fun to me. My motto is, if you can’t have fun with fashion, what’s the point!
I plan on working this little tie into outfits to come, so keep your eyes peeled…
