I’ll admit that I have had to take several serious breaks from watching the news because of how devastated I feel every time I see photos or videos of the tragic events taking place in Japan. I begin to feel foolish for posting about lighthearted things such as fashion and style because the second that I do, I am immediately reminded of the dire situation that is happening this second as I sit and type, safe and sound.
So, I decided that instead of sitting helplessly in front of my screen, both TVand computer, I would do something. And, as small as it may be, it’s still something.
Tomorrow, I will be participating in this very special event set up by Utterly Engaged and Ever Ours that I read about on various blogs around the web, to help raise awareness and hopefully funds to help Japan in the wake of recent destruction. We can all help, so just do what you can, no matter how small, and help spread the word.

To donate, go to Shelter Box via For Japan with Love, or to the Red Cross, here or here. Every bit counts. xoxo
