Ever since I cut my hair, I have wanted to go just a tad shorter. When my Dad took these photos, I strategically tucked my hair into my blazer to create a bit of a bob, just to see how it would look. I’m thinking it doesn’t come across half bad, but if I did snip some more inches, I would definitely style it with some loose, pretty waves and a bit more volume.
As for the outfit, I have been coveting this dress for a while so when it finally arrived (courtesy of “A” bringing it all the way from New York to Seattle just in time for my family’s holiday party) I was ecstatic. I love how it bells out ever so slightly, which makes me feel like very feminine and girly. But, since the pattern is fairly bold, I figured why not draw out the silvery hues and play them up with some black and white printed heels. Then to really top it off, add a bright blue belt, just for the fun of it. What the heck, right? Fashion is meant to be fun and playful, so here’s to more of that in 2012. xo
