Happy weekend everyone! I am very excited to share that on Sunday I will be jetting off to the wonderful city of Copenhagen with the team from ECCO! We will be attending multiple fashion shows including the Walk In Style Award Show and will have an exclusive meet & greet with the team and designers from the ECCO Group. There are many other fun things on the itinerary that I will share along the way, so stay tuned and follow along next week on the blog as well as on my Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, and of course on ECCO’s social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest and Instagram). xo
Chelanigans
This past weekend I spent a fun weekend away with a bunch of friends in the quaint town of Chelan, Washington. Normally my friends and I spend summers there, swimming in the lake and sunning ourselves on the beach. But more recently it seems the town has decided to team up with the neighboring town, Manson, for a festival called Winterfest. It takes place over two weekends in mid-January and focuses on fun wintry outdoor activities and celebrating local food and drink.
On Saturday, we headed over to Manson for the ale tasting and chilifest. It was extremely cold out (it actually dropped down to 10 degrees at night) so we warmed ourselves by the fire and listened to live music while we took in the spectacular views. Then as it got dark, everyone headed down to the water to send off their Chinese wish lanterns into the sky. It was pretty special, I have to say.
Here are some photos from the past few days, if you’d like to see…
Our main view from inside our condo at The Grandview on the Lake. So impressive and beautiful.
I lived in my Sorel “Caribou” boots (on the left) the whole weekend and my feet stayed toasty the entire time!
We were able to make breakfast every morning and enjoy the view (below) as we ate and chatted.
Thanks for spoiling us Blake!
Three of my very good girlfriends from college. Nothing like amazing company to make a weekend getaway complete.

What’s not to love about a highlighter yellow sweater in the middle of winter?!

Escape to Palm Beach
Last weekend I was invited to Palm Beach on behalf of Lilly Pulitzer with my two friends, Helena and Alicia. We had a blast exploring the area where Lilly found her start years ago.
Inside her store at The Breakers.
Goofing off as only bloggers know how.
Our morning began with breakfast at The Breakers, which is a gorgeous hotel. Below are some photos I took, if you’d like to see.
I had to leave early on Sunday so I didn’t have time to photograph what I wore to the Red Cross Beach Bash on Saturday night, but decided to recreate it for you just for fun. (Thanks Dad, for snapping the photos below.)

Moonlighting In Morocco: Oualidia (photo heavy post!)
Just wanted to jump back about a week or so and revisit and share my photos with you from the second half of my trip to Morocco. After a handful of days in Casablanca, our amazing tour guide and driver, Hassan, drove us out to Oualidia to stay for a couple days at La Sultana Hotel and Spa. I was blown away by the beauty of this place. I definitely plan on coming back in the future.
I found myself wearing some version of a flowy pant the whole time.
We lunched on the water, literally.
Decadent pasta with lobster!
We each had our own private decks complete with hot tubs.

Breathtaking.

We went for a boat ride around the lagoon and saw these cute little boats everywhere we went.
This was such a special, special trip. Thank you to everyone that made it possible. xo
Moonlighting In Morocco: Casablanca (photo heavy post!)
Last week I was one lucky girl and hopped aboard a plane to Casablanca, Morocco as a guest of the Morocco Tourism Board to attend the Festi Mode Casablanca Fashion week with Jules, Lindsey and Natalie. We spent the first day in Casablanca enjoying breakfast by the sea, then heading over to the outdoor markets to browse for bags, jewelry and to take in all the scenery. I remember being unsure about what to wear so I opted for a long, printed maxi and a lightweight sweater since the weather was a bit chilly at times.

I was so tempted to buy a little rug! The men that showed us all the traditional weaves were so friendly and greeted us with traditional sweet mint Moroccan tea.
Spotted this kitty just hanging out in the markets. It sat as still as can be no matter how close we got – such a good model!
I’m slightly obsessed with old, interesting doors and always take lots of photos of them wherever I am. I hope to one day have a wall of them from all the places I’ve traveled.
Bags and knick knacks galore! We wandered through many shops and I ended up finding a pretty cognac leather bag, two scarves, a bronze bowl to hold my jewelry and and a pretty purple tea glass.

Day two, we ate breakfast outside again, made a quick trip to Zara (!) where I bought a black blazer with leather sleeves and then headed to the main Mosque, which is actually one of the largest in the world (according to our incredible guide, Hassan!). Apparently, the structure isn’t very old, but geez, will the architecture take your breath away. It was a very humbling and amazing experience to be inside and out looking around.
One of my favorite shots taken inside the Mosque.
I gravitated towards flowy dresses and pants for most of the trip and had a little fun with pattern mixing on this particular day. I also brought a bright, neon yellow scarf for a pop of color.
Where all the fashion shows took place. We attended about three shows every night – one where we were sat front row!
Again, such pretty doors!
More to come on the second leg of my trip to Oualidia, Morocco, so stay tuned!
Warwick
For those of us just joining us, my good friend and fellow blogger, Helena, and I teamed up with Chevrolet to test drive the new 2013 Chevy Malibu and headed up state for a little road trip (read all about it here!) to try out this cute little cherry-red car. You can read all about our trip here, but if you’d like to take a look, here is a little photo montage from our trip upstate!

Malibu Style
Helena and I teamed up with Chevrolet in conjunction with their new 2013 Chevy Malibu, and Isaac Mizrahi, who created a capsule collection based on this adorable cherry-red ride. He went all around the country, visiting four different women who acted as his “muses” and gathered up inspiration from their lives and closets to create this collection. I can’t wait to see what he came up with. Luckily we won’t have to wait long, since the show debuting the collection is next week!
You will also be able to check out LivingSocial, which has created a page for Malibu Style, and offers daily deals based on the cities where he met with his “muses”. The collection will go on sale in mid-October, and will be available on LivingSocial Shop, so stay tuned. And don’t forget to watch Isaac in action in these cute videos, here, here and here!
So, to kick off this fun program, Helena and I decided to take the car out for a spin and go on a mini road trip. We settled on Warwick, New York, where we went apple picking, checked out pumpkins for the upcoming holiday and basically just took in the beautiful scenery upstate.
We stayed at one of my favorite B&Bs in the area called, the Inn at Stony Creek. If you ever have a chance to get out of the city, I highly recommend heading to this little gem of a place. The owners are amazing (cooked us customized breakfasts) and the decor and feel is so charming and cozy.
We took the lovely Keiko Lynn with us to take our photos and the three of us had quite the lovely time. Although we were only there two days, we left feeling refreshed and refueled.

I will soon be posting what I wore on our little adventure, so stay tuned. But, in the meantime, you can head on over to the Chevy Malibu Style Facebook page to learn more and follow along on Twitter @Chevrolet and @IsaacMizrahi #MalibuStyle
