Dree Crop Denim by Citizens of Humanity

Get the look:

Meet my new favorite pair of jeans, the Dree Crop by Citizens of Humanity. They are high rise with a slim straight cut in the “Cameo” wash, and have the perfect amount of distressing and rips, which come off understated but still cool, as if you have had them for years and years. I’ve been living in them nonstop and although they aren’t cheap, I highly recommend the investment. (I also own these, which I love because of their relaxed slouch.)

My Closet Transformation with TaskRabbit!

I teamed up with TaskRabbit to transform my cluttered upstairs closet into a gorgeous vanity, an organized oasis where I could finally have a place for all my makeup, jewelry, perfume and other accessories. It’s been such a dream because unfortunately my bathroom doesn’t have any countertops so getting ready in the morning was always challenging. Task Rabbit shared my story in their newsletter, which I’m really excited to share with you guys! (The story also got picked up by PopSugar!)

THE BEFORE!

What was used:

From Home Depot: 2 base cabinets, a 4-light chrome wall vanity light, and a shelf board

From IKEA: shelf brackets, a mirror, brass drawer pulls, and shelves to flank the mirror

From Target: Gold and marble hooks, vanity tray, area rug, bench

From the hardware store: Lightbulbs, wiring, paint

From TaskRabbit: Tasker Denis was SO helpful in making this all come to life!

THE AFTER!

I would say, the one area that I still haven’t quite finished is the bedroom. I plan on changing out the nightstand on the right and adding a luxe blue velvet headboard, which I think will add some texture and warmth to the room.

My parents are still in town so I am going to soak up as much time with them as I can before they have to head back to Seattle. I love the excuse to wear a long gowns so when Fame and Partners asked if I wanted to try some of their dresses, I was super excited. I chose these styles and couldn’t love them more. These two looks are for the girl who loves a fancy night out and will take any excuse to get all dolled up. Lately I haven’t had a ton of opportunities to get super dressy so it was so fun to break out these gowns and style them up!

P.S. One fun thing: I wore my favorite tassel earrings with each look, which is the champagne shimmer, but didn’t realize that the color would blend in so well with my hair! So I’m sorry if you can really see them very well but you can shop a bunch more colors here by clicking on the image below…
