It’s day two of remixing this little pinstripe number, (see look one) and I’m excited to share a more casual version of this little dress. I wanted to give this outfit a tomboy twist, so I slipped on my new favorite sneakers by Matt Bernson and this fun French Connection varsity jacket. Over the next three days I am going to be rolling out three different ways to style this dress from Heartloom. I love that it’s only $99, which after remixing it a bunch of ways, the cost per wear becomes really good! I also love the lace detailing, which is on the sides and front of the dress, but also on the back, which you’ll see in tomorrow’s post. Lace has become my new favorite thing – it’s just so pretty and feminine and adds a little umph to any outfit.
With a long blazer and strappy pumps, this look is all about being sleek and chic, but tomorrow and Wednesday’s outfits are completely different and I am so excited to share them with you guys, so make sure to keep checking this space all week!
By the way, in case you are wondering why my legs are bare, these photos were taken last week before the snow, when it was randomly 50 degrees out. I know that this outfit is no longer applicable to those living in colder climates, but to my LA and warm weather people, I hope you can draw some inspiration!

I think this might be one of my favorite outfits I’ve worn lately, even though now it’s much too cold to wear such a light jacket. (We are supposed to get a couple inches of snow here in New York!) I meant to put this post up yesterday but came down with a cold overnight, which put me out of a commission a bit. I’m still under the weather but hoping I’m on the mend! How was everyone’s New Year’s Eve? I didn’t actually do anything, which was kind of nice. I spent the evening on the couch with Susan (my cat), ordered a pizza and caught up on some of my shows. The next day I had brunch with friends at a cute spot in Brooklyn and saw La La Land later that night.
Luckily I have a pretty calm week work wise so I plan on getting caught up on some projects, taking yoga and just trying to be healthy overall. Do you guys have any big resolutions for this year? xoRead more
