Beaded

Since we all know I love a good romper/onesie/jumpsuit situation, I decided to break out this beaded jumper for kicks. I’ve worn it with flat sandals before but thought this time around I would take it up a notch and slip on some silver heels to give it a dressier feel.

Doily Dress

When I first saw this dress I didn’t think it would work on my shape at all, but after slipping it on, I sort of loved how 60’s and mod it looked and felt. It’s technically a dress (although I opted to put shorts on underneath) but can act as a swimsuit coverup as well, which is what I plan on using it for when I go to Malaga, Spain next month.

Summertime

New York is in the throws of summer, which means every day is a scorcher. It can be hard to stay cool in 90 degree weather, so when shorts and a t-shirt starts feeling kind of boring, I switch it up by wearing colorful, breezy rompers.

Happy 4th!

Happy Fourth of July, everyone! What do you guys have planned? It is supposed to rain all day so I might try and see The Fault in Our Stars this afternoon but then am meeting up with friends on a rooftop in Brooklyn to watch the fireworks. Fingers crossed the rain stops by the evening. Regardless of the weather, I hope you all have a great day celebrating America’s Birthday! xo

Birthday Girl

Happy almost weekend, everyone! Yesterday was my Birthday so I took the day off and spent time with Casey. I pampered myself (or he did actually) with a mani pedi and then laid by the pool and read for the rest of the afternoon. It was wonderful. Then later in the night, we got dressed up and met friends for dinner at Cafe Mezcal and drinks at Nurse Bettie. Over all, it was a great Birthday! Lucky for me, it will continue on throughout the rest of the week and weekend, with apparently a few surprises planned, so stay tuned. Hope you have a fantastic rest of your day! xo
