The Pink Satin Slip Dress

GET THE LOOK:

I love silk slip dresses but usually reserve them for wearing at night with heels and a statement necklace, but I wanted to transition this pretty dusty rose dress more into a daytime look so I paired it with suede brown flats and an army green cargo vest to create a causal yet chic ensemble. I think by opting for colors like greens and browns next to the neutral shade of blush really created a pretty palette and perfect for a daytime adventure in the city. Tropical

GET THE LOOK:

When I was in Seattle in mid-June, I swung into Forever 21 and snagged this brightly colored cropped button down, which was only $18! I found it hanging on some bottom rack, kind of hidden away, and was immediately drawn to it for it’s cheerful color and fun tropical print. Although I don’t wear it very often, yellow has been my favorite color since I was little, so I found it really fun to integrate it into an outfit.

This is such a “me” outfit, especially on the days when I’m running errands all around the city but also need to stay comfortable. I also love how easy it is to remix a simple striped dress just by switching up the accessories. I always say that your shoes, bag and jewelry can totally change your overall look in minutes, which is ideal when you’re always on the go!

Stripes, Camo and Leopard, Oh My!

GET THE LOOK:

I used to love this combo together and somewhere along the way, stopped doing a ton of pattern mixing. But the truth is, I really like doing it and I really like the way these three prints look paired together. I also haven’t worn statement jewelry in a while so it felt fun to revisit this oversized necklace, which is still one of my favorites and was about $15 from Forever 21!

My Summer Uniform

GET THE LOOK:

Sunglasses | Jacket | Tee | Shorts (I sized up to make them looser and look more relaxed) | Birkenstocks

As we head into June and the weather continues to get warmer, my daily uniform becomes a pair of denim cutoffs, a loose t-shirt and my trusty Birkenstocks. I now have four pairs of them and really want to snag a navy blue pair next! If you guys are curious on other ways to style them, check out my video below which shows how I wear them!

A Pop of Red!

GET THE LOOK:

I love adding a pop of red to my outfits and thought that this bag and lipstick would be the perfect touches to this black on denim outfit. I just feel like it gives the overall outfit some “umph” you know?

I’ve owned this long skinny black scarf for a while and always love finding new ways to wear it. Earlier in the year I wore it around my neck like this, but think it would also be really cute tied in a bow over a crisp white button down.
