This outfit sums up my usual Sunday attire, which always seems to involve a simple v-neck and my favorite pair of distressed jeans. I opted for my bright new red heels for a pop of color to spruce up this look but always carry a pair of flats with me just in case, especially when I am out and about all day. I added an equally bright red lip and my favorite go-to bag to create an easy day-to-night look. What’s your Sunday style?

Last June, around this time, I visited my best friend and her husband in London, where they lived for two years. We spent a couple days around town before heading to Paris for a girls weekend, then made our way to Florence and Venice where we up with her husband for a long, food and fun-filled weekend. It was such an amazing trip and I have the fondest memories from that time in my life. So, I thought it would be fun to take a look back to last year and see what I was wearing, so here is a little smattering of my outfits I wore during the trip. I am a sucker for simple and classic pieces that go with anything, and a clean white tank is just the thing for that tricky transition from spring into summer. In the cooler months, layer it under a blazer or boyfriend sweater of your choice, and then as it begins to warm up, just rock a tank and shorts for an easy and chic look. I like to add heels to dress up a basic ensemble like this one, but you can always opt for a lower wedge if a high cork keel is feeling too much for you. I always love pairing two unassuming colors together that should clash, but instead end up complimenting each other. In this case, mint with a splash of neon not only makes me think of an ice cold mojito, but offers up a fresh and fun look for summer. xo

These photos were taken back in April when I was in Sonoma with my parents and I’m finally getting around to sharing them, so sorry for the delay! We stayed at this adorable little cottage on a vineyard just outside of town (my Dad always manages to find the best places) and it was the perfect reprieve from the long days of driving. During this trip I rotated between a few pairs of shorts and tanks but practically lived in this hat (as I am sure you could tell from my Instagrams), these comfy Dr. Scholl’s Shoes and this trusty cross body bag, which holds a surprising amount of stuff despite it’s size.
