Still in San Francisco, but wanted to post this outfit from last weekend. I saw these shoes on Lucky’s instagram and was instantly obsessed. Then while down in New Orleans, I swung into LF for a quick second and immediately upon entering, saw these lovelies, found my size and made them mine. It happened almost in a dreamlike blur because while standing at the cash register I saw this awesome scarf along with a funky necklace, and before I knew it I walked out with a bag full of goodies. Luckily, LF offers such amazing deals that it was definitely a bang for your buck type moment.

Yellow Jacket

What can I say, I’m mad about yellow, which has always been my favorite color and seems to be making a huge resurgence in my closet as of late, and apparently blouses with birds on them. I feel like this outfit encapsulates spring, and seeing that yesterday was the first day of the new season, it’s perfectly fitting!
I just arrived in San Francisco yesterday and am going to spend time with Krystal as well as a few other close friends before meeting up with my family to celebrate my Dad’s Birthday and my parent’s 38th wedding anniversary! Then we are off to Santa Barbara before I finally head back to NYC next week. So, stay tuned for some remixing (read: raiding Krystal’s closet) and hopefully some sunny California shots. xo
The Outnet & Marni

Over the weekend I was able to play around with some very fun Marni items (on loan) from The Outnet, the amazing online fashion outlet. I love these three items together and feel like this outfit would be the perfect look for running around the city – just chic enough for meetings but relaxed enough to run errands and maybe grab a casual lunch with friends. Last Friday night I had the pleasure of hosting a fun styling event at the chic and charming boutique, The Blues Jean Bar in New Orleans. I wore these great wide legged jeans by Henry & Belle, this sweet top by Joe’s Jeans and a crisp blazer by Rugby. Overall the night was a great success – I got to meet some lovely readers, style up some customers and eat cake and sip champagne. I also want to send out a huge thank you to all the girls at The Blues Jean Bar as well as Lauren, Andi and Allison for everything – you guys are the best! xo

Greetings from The Big Easy! I arrived yesterday and spent the day working from my lovely friend Lauren’s spacious and airy apartment in the French Quarter, eating cheese and crackers and strawberries. She also happens to have this devine balcony, which was just one more added plus to the whole situation. The light and weather is incredible here and I can’t wait to share the rest of my outfits with you over the next handful of days.
