The title of this post says it all. These jeans are actually this bright – almost as fluorescent as this Cambridge Satchel, which I love. I adore these pants, but it was an interesting experience wearing them around the city the other day – whether it was the many once-overs I received or my own double-take I found myself giving my reflection as I passed by random store windows. Needless to say, wearing these pants was the highlight of my day. xo
This is one of the brightest shirts I own and I absolutely adore it. To be honest, it was one of those situations where I saw it, and before I knew what was happening, I was blindly handing it over to a sales person to be rung up. But I know I will get a ton of wear out of overall, so my theory about cost per wear always wins and evens everything out in the end. xo
Finally, the second half of my hair transformation is complete! I went back to Arrojo on Monday and met with my lovely colorist, Flores. We decided to go darker and opted for a deep, rich color for now, and then as the warmer months come, lighten up the ends here and there for a more summery feel. Should be fun!
I wore this outfit out to dinner with Helena, then up to a 7 For All Mankind jeans event where we previewed a screening of James Franco’s new videos he is creating with the brand – definitely intriguing and very fun to watch. As for the styles in the showroom, floral denim was everywhere! I can’t wait to debut my pair on the blog soon – will probably pair them with stripes no doubt. :) All in all, a great start to the week!
Last night I attended Elie Tahari’s presentation and was pleasantly surprised at how on-trend I felt in my outfit! I was thrilled to see so much color everywhere- blues, purples and oranges and pinks galore. I felt like I fit right in!

These photos, taken by Helena, were shot right after we got back from LA and the weather in New York was blissful: warmish, with a slight breeze and apparently an appropriate temperature for bare legs. At this point, I can’t even remember what that feels like! Sigh…I can’t wait for the weather to be this agreeable again! xo
This spring I am all about brights. The bolder the better in my book, which is why this cheerful bag is my new go-to when adding the perfect pop of color to any ensemble. xo
