Last week I was lucky enough to be flown out to Los Angeles as a part of the Vogue Blogger Network for a very fun meeting and event thrown by Gap. I took a million photos and met some amazing people, all of which I will share over the next couple days (still compiling!), but for now, here are some photos of what I wore to the event…
Summer Heat, City Sights
RayBan Wayfarers / F21 Tank and Skirt / Coach “Chelsea Flagship” in Ivory / Rope Bracelet (gift shop in Montauk) / J.Crew Panama Hat / Sole Society Wedges (gift)
Wore this on Saturday while wandering around the West Village with A and his cousin. We ate a yummy lunch at Aroma, then made our way to the Hudson to try and catch a breeze, and break from the blistering heat. Then it was on to the High Line and finally up to the Chelsea Market before heading home and getting ready for a night of dinner and dancing. What did you do this past weekend?

Easy Breezy
RayBan Wayfarers / Joie Dress (gift) / Vintage Ferragamo Belt / Coach “Chelsea Flagship” in Ivory (gift) / Nine West Wedges (gift) / Kenneth Cole Watch (gift) / Rope Bracelet (giftshop in Montauk)
Lots of fun projects on the horizon (will share soon, I promise) but in the meantime, here is a simple easy breezy summertime look I wore to a few meetings last week.

East Deck
J. Crew Hat / Madewell Necklace and Top / F21 Jeans / Foley + Corinna Mid City Tote (gift) / Seychelles Shoes (gift from ModCloth) / Coach Boyfriend Bracelet (gift) / Towne & Reese Blue Bangle
I wore this bright little number out to dinner at the Surf Lodge along with my new favorite eyeliner ( I like the teal side) from Estee Lauder. So far, I think these are the brightest jeans I own, and I love them. Not sure what to call the color though. Mustard green? Pea green? What would call it? xoxo
Barney Does Ballard
H&M Jacket / J.Crew Blouse / Goldsign “Frontier” Jeans (gift) / Foley + Corinna Mid City Tote (gift) / Sole Society Marco Santi Sandals (gift) / Simon Sebbag Earrings (Birthday present)
On my last night in Seattle, my parents and I went for happy hour, then took Barney for a little stroll through Ballard. But before we took in the sunset down by the water, my Dad snapped some photos of me and the Barn in front of this neat backdrop. I especially love the last two photographs and think they would look adorable framed.
Simple Pleasures
Equipment Blouse (gift) / Wishbone Necklace (Birthday gift from VF) / Grandmother’s Pearl Ring
Often times, I think it’s life’s simple pleasures that bring me the most joy. In this particular case, it was enjoying the wide open space of California, a subtle, yet golden sunset, and spending quality time with my family.
I also think this applies to my favorite clothing and accessories. Sometimes simple and classic is so much more. In this case, it would definitely stand true. This classic white blouse, a special necklace from a dear friend, and my beloved pearl ring that was my Grandmother’s, who I miss everyday. xoxo
Doubled Up
Carol Marie “Drop Earrings” (in brass) / ADAM Blazer / Joie Top / Urban Outfitters Shorts / Tory Burch “Lucian Crochet Wedges” (gift) / Coach Boyfriend Bracelet / Metallic Bracelets (bought from a shop in Point Reyes)
For my trip out West, I packed a few pairs of shorts, a ton of striped tops and a handful of light jackets. While digging through my suitcase one evening, I saw these two striped gems lying side by side and immediately saw a match made in heaven: stripes on stripes! You can imagine my delight to double up on this beloved pattern.
The cherry on the sunday was this blazer, which has become my new favorite go-to piece whenever I need a light jacket to throw on in the evenings. I love that it’s made of linen, so it’s light weight, but still lends itself as a sophisticated piece due to it’s structured fit, and rich, rusty copper hue. xoxo
Beautifully Beige
Jupe Boutique Striped Boatneck Sweater (gift, also seen here) / F21 Shorts, Necklace / Nine West Espadrilles (c/o of Shop It To Me)

I have to admit something…I have a section in my closet purely dedicated to tops in the beigey-pink-white-neutral color scheme, and I adore each and every piece…this lightweight sweater being one of them. I have also had these shorts for a while now and wear them incessantly. The color and fit is just that perfect. So, I guess as much as I am drawn to bold colors, I am also a huge sucker for soft, easy neutrals…and apparently, pairing them together…
P.S. I also love how the straps of these sandals parallel the stripes in my top…just a fun little additional detail to my easy breezy ensemble. xoxo
