Favorites

Currently loving my new Joie top, which is so silky and lightweight. These yellow shorts, even though they wrinkle incessantly. My go-to Seychelles heels with their subtle touch of yellow on the straps. This creamy colored Coach bag that feels so feminine and pretty. And last but not least, my new Emma Stine necklace that arrived in the mail just in time to be paired with this outfit.

When I was younger, yellow used to be my favorite color, but I stopped wearing it for a long time. So, I am really loving that as of late, I seem to wearing and accenting with it more and more. It’s so cheerful, don’t you think?

Cocktails at Tiffany’s

Last week I was lucky enough to spend an evening with Tiffany & Co. to celebrate the launch of their new site, What Makes Love True. They took a group of us on a tour of some of their favorite, most romantic spots in the city. We started at Tiffany’s on Wall Street, made our way over to Italian Wine Merchants and finished the night at Raines Law Room. You can see the full list of their NYC recommendations here. It was such a decadent and devine evening spent with friends indulging in cheese and wine.

Graffiti

I had a slew of events to go to on Wednesday night, including a wonderful dinner with the Be Classic girls. I wanted to wear something chic and versatile that could transition from event to event to dinner. So, I decided on this silky sheath, which is one of the little striped numbers I picked up at the Joie event I mentioned yesterday. I belted it to give it a bit more shape and opted for these tan Seychelles shoes again versus a basic black heel to lighten up the overall look. Also, I swear this tote goes with everything.

An Unlikely Match

Here’s a little stripes and camo combo for your Wednesday. Who would have thought that these two unlikely pieces would have complimented each other so nicely. Well, at least in my opinion. :) I was sent this shirt through the awesome site, Shop It To Me, which is a personalized shopping service that knows your brands and sizes. Pretty cool, huh?

On another note, I am really loving my Seychelles heels. Besides being super comfortable, they seem to go with everything! I can’t get enough of the yellow heel strap. Such an unexpected fun touch! xoxo
