My Outfit Remix: Feeling Like A New Yorker
So, this outfit is the “New York” remixed version of my Parisian ensemble from the other day. (Sorry for no post on Thursday…life’s been slightly hectic lately.) So, all I did was switch out the light pink blouse for the darker peach version that I own (same shirt, different color), opted for a black satin tuxedo blazer, and a black belt. Oh, and did I mention that I now own this particular bag from H&M in all three colors? Yes, I do. Black, tan and gray. A sweet reader asked if I maybe I would do a post on this purse and I think I will! So stay tuned…

Just a little note to all my incredible readers…thank you SO much for your amazing responses to the winter remix challenge. I have loved reading everything you guys had to say and it was so interesting to see which looks were your favorites. Over the weekend I am going to try and tally up the one that got the most praise and post it on Monday. Also, some how the posting of it got screwed up and it went up twice (whoops!) so I am going to take down the first one, but I didn’t want to delete it along with the comments attached without a heads up. I hate to do this, but it is a little confusing to have two copies of it up. My fault! My Outfit Remix: Splurge Dress
So, I am frantically trying to get all my work done so that I can have a nice and relaxing evening with Krystal, full of lots of laughs, good wine and yummy food. Since today, most of my work consists of sitting in front of my computer, and I don’t have a whole lot of reason to leave the house, I decided to get dressed in my outfit for tonight early on and snap a photo of it before the light went away. This is my splurge dress and like I said before, I plan on wearing it many different ways so I feel like I am getting bang for my buck. And so I give you, the outfit of the evening. The blouse underneath is the same top I wore here. Right now I am getting away without wearing tights, but I think when later on I will slip on some sheer black nylons and actually wear the leather jacket that is in my hand.
**After uploading this photo, I realized that I am totally doing a pose that is reminiscent of Krystal’s blogging pose, without even meaning to! I always think she looks great, so I guess imitation really is the greatest form of flattery!**
Remix Challenge: Day 14!!!
Happy New Year’s Eve, dolls! What are you up to this evening? Any fun dinners or parties? I am going to spend the first part of the night with my parents and go to dinner and a movie, then join up with some friends to watch the fireworks shoot off the top of the Space Needle! Can’t wait…hopefully I’ll get some good photos.
