Remix Challenge: Day 12
I was talking to Mike last night, and I was asking him which outfit was his favorite so far. He listed off a couple and then brought up the outfit with the knee socks. He said as much as liked it, he said it would be cool to see them paired with my navy blue skirt. This outfit immediately came to mind, in which he agreed, so today’s outfit is a play off of the original knee sock ensemble. I layered the blue wool skirt over top the black dress, used different socks, and took a more casual approach this time around by layering a bit more and untucking the button-down. But overall, I’m a fan of this look. School girl-meets-beatnik.

Remix Challenge: Day 8
Here are just a few shots from Christmas day that I was finally able to upload today. I didn’t have much time to take many photos or detail shots, but I did want to show the two ways I wore this outfit throughout the day. We ran around all day long, seeing friends and family, so there were times when it was appropriate to be a little more dressed up, sans the studded blazer from ModCloth, and other times when I could be a bit more funky and show off my metal. Either way, this was a fairly simple outfit, but did the trick for a very fun, whirlwind of a day. I hope you all had a lovely holiday!
