My Birthday Outfit
My dearest readers…Help! I am turning another year older tomorrow and want something cute to wear to my party. For fun, here is a little flashback to past my Birthday wear. It seems that 2007 was all about the shirt/dress, and 2008, the look was super girly/dressy. So, what should this year’s Birthday style be about? Side note: The agenda includes dancing at a Cuban bar, so I want to wear something fun and flirty. So, come on! I would love to hear your thoughts on what I should wear! SPxx

Saturday was my dear friend N’s birthday party and the theme was 1970’s. I am loving N’s dress—doesn’t she look so pretty on her special day? Even though we didn’t exactly go all out with costumes, we did opt for bright, loud florals and bold prints. In a rush to find something to wear, I skimmed F21 earlier in the day and found this dress for only $25, which is now my new favorite spring/summer maxi. To rev up the 70’s vibe, I wore lots of gold bracelets and rings, parted my hair down the middle, slipped into a pair of wooden platforms and I was ready to roll. All in all, a really fun party! Ah, finally the weekend has arrived. I know, I know, I just got back from vacation, but it is hard to re-enter after being gone for a week. Especially when your arrive to a rainy and cold city. But, even if the weather decides to be fickle over the next couple days, I remain in bright spirits because two of my close friends are celebrating their birthdays this weekend!
