I woke up at 7:45 this morning like a kid on Christmas and immediately turned on my computer to watch the Coach MYNY video! It was so much fun to see all the footage, and bloggers come together in the final video, and on the Coach site no less! If you haven’t checked it out, do so now! : )
Coach Feature: My NY!
It’s finally here! The Coach video is up and running! Wahoo! Check it out on the official Coach website, here and on YouTube, here!
I took these photos a few weeks ago, right when I got my new Coach shoes and bag, and loved the outfit so much that I wanted to save it for a special post. Well, if this isn’t a super special post, then I don’t know what is!
Everyone involved in this amazing project was super awesome and I definitely recommend checking out the other bloggers who were featured: Karen of Where Did U Get That, Joelle and Noel of The Owls Are Not What They Seem, and Jessica from What I Wore.
Now, I urge you all to go to the Coach site and check out their newest line, The Kristin Collection, along with their new spring heels! For direct links to the shoes and bag shown above, see below!
***Sending out a HUGE thanks to all the awesome girls at Coach, the awesome guys at StyleCaster, to Jillian, my lovely hair and makeup gal, and to Karen from Purple Lab for getting me involved in the first place! xoxo***

My Outfit: Decisions, Decisions…
Okay, so this is another outfit I might wear tonight…thoughts, opinions? HELP! I know I said that I was going to wear my Coach shoes, but now I am thinking twice and might want to wear my new boots, especially because it gets chilly at night. I think no matter what, I am still going to stick with cat eyes, and now my faux fur vest. Seriously. I need to make up my mind…

My Outfit: Playing In the Closet
Happy, happy Thursday! First off, I would like to wish my dear friend Jenni, of Daily Work It, a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I am donning my dancing shoes later this evening to help her celebrate her special night, but before that, I have an amazing Josie Natori event that I am attending with my friend Audrey. I plan on taking copious amounts of photos and promise to share all the lovely details with you tomorrow, but in the meantime, I have to figure out what in the heck to wear! Here is one option that I am considering, although I do feel that this tunic miiight be a tad short. (Remember this outfit, plus this remix round up from back in the fall?) I do know however, that I am going to be rocking my brand new Coach heels (LOVE), and some serious cat eyes. I will keep you posted on the final ensemble! xoxo

Behind The Scenes: Coach Video Shoot!
Okay, so I am all about divulging little pieces of what I have been working on, finally! The other project that I have been involved in, along with a handful of other bloggers, is with Coach, and is for an awesome promotional video that they are creating, showcasing their “Kristin” line. Anyway, more to come when the video goes live in mid-March, but in the meantime, here are some fun behind-the-scene shots from our trailer with the lovely Jillian, the awesome makeup and hair artist who is shown in the first photo. Thanks for all your support, my lovely readers…honestly, you guys make it all worthwhile, so THANK YOU! xoxo
Weekend Wear, Part 2: Project-ing All About Town
( My new favorite, and very manageable, way to wear my hair. The twist and tuck!)
Okay, so I realize that project-ing, is a made up word, at least in the way that I am using it (as in the action of doing a project, not actually projecting onto someone else) but whatever. Sometimes it’s just something you have to do to.
Anyway, part of the project that I was working on this weekend required using a flip video camera and doing some fun filming of my very favorite spots around the city. Once I felt I had enough footage for the day, I decided to add in a few still shots of my outfit for kicks. I realized later that I didn’t get any photos with my coat open except for the very top shot, so, sorry about that!
Instead I’ll give a little explanation about the ensemble above. I am wearing the ultimate combination of splurge versus save, except I was lucky enough to have the splurge items, which include the trench, clutch, and heels, gifted to me, courtesy again of the lovely, lovely girls at Coach. However, generally speaking, when shopping for myself, I am a big advocate of investing money on quality items such as bags, coats and shoes, because if purchased thoughtfully, those items end up being quality staples in your closet for years to come. This is definitely the case for me regarding these Coach items. The pieces of this outfit that came from my own closet happen to be very thrifty, which creates a nice price point juxtaposition. My jeans are from Target, my belt, and blouse are thrifted and each cost $5, my scarf came from H&M, the sunglasses from a street vendor, my ring from F21, my watch necklace is vintage, and my striped tank is from Banana Republic (thanks Mom!). A nice contrast of items, I would say.

Weekend Wear, Part 1: It’s All In The Bag
Happy Monday! So, I had a very eventful weekend. The activities consisted of lots of eating, photographing, thrifting, videoing, walking, laughing and more eating. These photographs were taken on the way back to my apartment, and to be honest there wasn’t too much rhyme or reason when putting this look together, besides wanting to be comfortable. But, I do have to point out the lovely bag that I am carrying, courtesy of the lovely girls at Coach, which is part of one of the projects I am working on. I can’t wait to tell you guys more about it, but for now, I will just leave you with these photos. I promise to share my news soon! xoxo

My Style: The Hippie Hippie Shake
So, as many of you know, I have decided to add posts about what I wore, which is super fun to photograph, despite me looking slightly crazy, dancing around by myself on the street. But, I have also decided that I want to try out different layouts for a bit and see what I like best. Who knows, maybe I will continue to just do a mish mosh of types. So far, I have tried this style of layout, and this week, I opted to try out this awesome coloring effect that the lovely Audrey of the cool blog, Homerunballerina, uses. Thoughts?
