I meant to post photos from the event yesterday, but was busy running around the city with my Godmother and Mom, who are visiting for the week. Woo hoo! But, what fun! Jessica, shot me an email letting me know that my photo was on the blog, Guest of Guest, from the party for Weardrobe and Market Publique. And, here are a few photos from the party that I shot. I met so many fantastic people, including Mel and Nickie, who are Weardrobe users and bloggers, as well as the Market Publique team! If you have not checked out these two Weardrobe and Market Publique, do so immediatley if not sooner. Very cool. It’s safe to say i am addicted.
Inspired By: Karla
Remember last week when I posted about the lovely Karla and her kickass blog? Well, here she is again! I was inspired by this outfit she’s wearing, because as much as I love tube dresses and little strapless numbers, I always feel like I am constantly yanking or tugging them up. This is because I am afraid it is going to slip a liiittle too low! But, I feel as though Karla has the answer to my problem. The next time I wear one of my strapless summer dresses, I am going to do as she does and slip a little tank top underneath. Fears of flashing random strangers, be gone!
Style Pill Likes: homerunballerina
I am a huge fan of the blog homerunballerina and love this girl’s style. I think this skirt if so fun and perfect for spring. And, isn’t this photograph cool? She was nice enough to give a little photoshop tutorial on how to do this. Read about it here. I think I’ll try it out on some of my photographs soon!
Blog Love.
After a long day of running around, and then a very intense yoga workout, I finally came home and checked back up on a few of my favorite blogs— What I Wore being one of them—and was so excited to see this come up on the screen! A huge thanks to Miss Jessica! Stay tuned, my dear readers, for more fun, summery outfits!
Lovely looks.
I recently posted about much I love liebemarlene and her neat online vintage store, but I am also loving her personal style. While I was browsing through wardrobe_remix on flickr I came across her profile and immediately fell in love. I love the backgrounds that she uses for her photographs…here are a few of my favorite outfits. Isn’t her Madeline hat the greatest?
Weardrobe is where it’s at.
I recently joined the cool site, Weardrobe, which I recommend all you people who love individual style and creative folks to check it out. You can follow people and vice versa, see what they are wearing and it is all sorts of fun. Very inspiring. Anyway, this girl and I are now Weardrobe “friends” and I am loving her fun style. This outfit in particular really caught my eye. I could see wearing it to a afternoon matinee or meeting friends for brunch. And, let’s be honest, you all know how much I adore ankle socks with heels…
All wrapped up.
Currently Coveting: The Sash from American Apparel
I love how AA always shows a million different ways to wear their items. It is so creative and inspiring…it really helps me look at some of the sort of basic and simple items in my closet in a different and more interesting way. What do you think about this sash? And, isn’t this girl’s outfit so cute? I think I definitely need to add this awesome acessory to my wardrobe. Lucky for me there is one around the corner from my apartment. Next stop: American Apparel!
