Lately I’ve noticed that instead of buying new clothing, I’ve been splurging a bit more on nicer home accessories, such as bougie candles and stylish tchotchkes. Don’t get me wrong, I really don’t discriminate when it comes to candles as long as they don’t give me a headache and aren’t too overpowering. But there is something special about treating myself to a candle (or perfume) from Diptyque or Le Labo, that brings me joy. Maybe it’s because it feels like an affordable way to indulge in a guilty pleasure, or maybe it’s because there is something therapeutic and calming about lighting an amazing smelling candle at the end of the day. Who knows?! Regardless, life is short, so I say…treat yo’self! And with that said, I give you eight of my current favorite bougie candles worth buying. xo

Went on a little cruise around the island last week for a fun event thrown by Conair for Rusk and Scunci. The view was so pretty, but it was extremely windy especially as we picked up speed. This photo gives you an idea of what my hair looked like at the end of the night. xoxo
