I hope your holiday was filled with lots of family, food and fun. xoxo
My Outfit: In Black and White
Urban Outfitters Earrings / Banana Republic Blazer / Gifted Natori Top / Gap Boyfriend Jeans / Steve Madden Warrick Wedges
I hope you all had a lovely Fourth of July! My plans changed at the last minute and I ended up staying in town, but still had a great time. It was low key with no traffic, drama or stress, and consisted of eating and lounging on the couch with my best friend and her husband. We ate tasty polish sausages, corn on the cob and munched on homemade oatmeal cookies. When it came time to watch the fireworks, we grabbed blankets and foldable chairs and headed across the street to Greenlake where we had a prime view of the fireworks show going on downtown. It was an excellent time.
As far as this outfit goes, it was something that I just slipped on over the weekend to go grab happy hour drinks down in Ballard with a good friend. I’ve realized that I need to get these wedges in black, because as much as I love the cognac color, I think having them in two colors would be a good wardrobe investment.
Do you guys have a favorite pair of shoes that you wish you had in more than one color? xoxo

Happy Thanksgiving, lovelies! What are your holiday plans? This will be the first Thanksgiving ever that I won’t be with my family in Seattle, but luckily my best friend and her boyfriend are hosting a lovely meal at their apartment this year. So, tomorrow I will be hanging out with friends, sipping wine, munching on olives and cheese and taking lots of photos of all the yummy dishes Allie prepared. Check back on Friday to see all the fun photos!
Happy Belated 4th!
I hope you all had a lovely holiday weekend. I spent mine at a family clam boil and it was so much fun! This was my fourth of July outfit, which is a dress that didn’t fit correctly in the top, so I turned it into a skirt by tucking the top part underneath. I love it when you can transform an item of clothing into something unexpected! Anyway, I wanted to incorporate the traditional red, white and blue, so I opted for a navy blue tank-slip and a crisp white blazer. What did you wear for the 4th?
Dapper Dad
Hi my dears! I hope you all had a nice and relaxing holiday, I know i did. I spent a lovely two weeks at home in Seattle with my Mom and Dad. On my last night, we went out to dinner and for fun, got a little dapper and dressy for fun. Doesn’t my father look handsome? I shot a few quick photos of him on our way out the door. I love the detailing on his cuffs, and aren’t his shoes classy looking? They were a Christmas present from my Mom. So tell me, whether it’s quirky or cool, does your Dad have his own personal style? Happy Weekend!

Can you believe Christmas is over already? I feel like I blinked and it was gone. I hope you all had a lovely holiday and enjoyed time with family and friends. I also wanted to say how much I appreciate you, my dears, for coming to the blog and reading, even during these busy holiday times. It means the world to me, so thank you!
I am off to the mountains now, to indulge in some good ol’ fashioned fun cross-country skiing with the parents. I am so excited! I hope to have photos to share with you on Monday. But, in the meantime…relax, stay warm (or cool) and enjoy the weekend! SPxx
p.s. I am really digging that cream bag. And that hat and pom pom scarf? How cute would those be up on the snowy slopes?!
My American Apparel ensemble
Hello from wintry Washington! The snow is starting to melt a bit, which makes me sad because it will only turn to slush. Good thing I have my Hunter boots! Anyway, I finally found my camera cord and was able to download massive amounts of pictures—yay—which means I am finally able to share with you these few shots taken of me in one of my favorite ensembles. Remember this outfit?
Gotta love the mini trash canister in the background, but isn’t the wallpaper the best? A big thank you to L for taking these shots. SPxx
