I always love pairing two unassuming colors together that should clash, but instead end up complimenting each other. In this case, mint with a splash of neon not only makes me think of an ice cold mojito, but offers up a fresh and fun look for summer. xo
crazy about…floral jeans
1. Paige Verdugo Ankle in Flea Market Floral / 2. J.Crew Liberty Toothpick Jean in Tresco Floral / 3. Forever 21 Rose Print Skinny Jeans / 4.Gap 1969 Printed Legging Skimmer Jeans / 5. Hudson Krista Super Skinny Jeans (although not quite a traditional floral print, the pattern gave off more of an abstract flowery feel, which I thought was fresh and fun)
Floral denim has been around for a bit now, but it hasn’t seemed to go anywhere, which is fine by me. I love a good bold, flowery print and when paired with either a basic white v-neck or classic chambray button down, it’s the perfect go-to outfit for a sunny spring day.

There is nothing like yellow to brighten up the day, especially when it’s been gray and rainy a few in a row. Yellow has been my favorite color since I was a little girl, and even though I might have swayed a bit through my teenage and college years and claimed that periwinkle, was in fact, my favorite color, I am back to yellow. The bright and cheerful nature of it never fails to make me happy or bring a needed pop to any outfit, don’t you think? xo

Last weekend I took a little road trip with two of my girlfriends to visit the town where we went to college. On the way up there we swung into the Seattle Premium Outlets in Tulalip where we did some serious retail therapy. Actually, almost everything I am wearing in this outfit is from our one shopping trip! My first stop was to J.Crew, where I snagged this adorable heart sweater (and shirt and blazer). It’s funny how happy it makes me – maybe it’s because it’s the perfect combination between sweet and playful. Regardless, I can’t wait to style it up with a cute mini and black tights or with some printed pants and bright heels. xo
