Sometimes I think there is nothing sexier or more appealing on a woman than a simple button down shirt. One of my favorites that I own is a striped version from J.Crew, which doesn’t seem to be available anymore but I found this one that is super similar.
In my opinion, the key to finding a great button down is making sure it has the perfect mix of structure and movement so that it’s not only tailored but also comfortable. I also like my shirts to be long enough so that I can do little front tuck, which helps create a nice silhouette, especially if the top is slightly oversized.

P.S. I am still in search of the perfect white button down so if you have any suggestions, please let me know in the comments! xo

Here is the last outfit remix with this sweet little slip dress! (See outfit one and two.) This sweater is one of my favorites and always works perfectly over lacy tanks, so I figured why not layer it over this dress! Read more

Jacket: French Connection (gift – similar style, I also like this one) | Dress: Heartloom (gift) | Shoes: Matt Bernson (gift) | Bag: Furla (gift) | Sunglasses: Karen Walker
It’s day two of remixing this little pinstripe number, (see look one) and I’m excited to share a more casual version of this little dress. I wanted to give this outfit a tomboy twist, so I slipped on my new favorite sneakers by Matt Bernson and this fun French Connection varsity jacket. Both my photographer and I agreed that this look should be called “sporty spice” haha.Read more
