For quite some time now, I have been a huge fan of sequin skirts, but never owned any. Then all of a sudden I was the proud owner of two lovely versions! (The first one can be seen here.) The one I’m wearing in the photos above, is from Banana Republic’s handpicked collection of thirteen pieces that is part of a collaboration with Lucky Magazine called The Lucky Dozen. (If you have been inside a BR dressing room lately or checked out their facebook, you might see a cute diagram about this contest showing all the different ways you can mix and match these chic essentials to create head-to-toe look.) In honor of this collection, Banana Republic invites you all to give it a whirl and play their Lucky Dozen Facebook game. They will be issuing daily style challenges on their Facebook page from September 29th to October 29th. As Seen In: Lucky Magazine / White House Black Market
Although the September issue of Lucky has been out on stands for a while now, I thought it would be appropriate to kick off the first of this (fashion heavy) month by sharing these photos from a shoot I did with Lucky and White House | Black Market earlier this summer. It has been a dream of mine to work with Lucky on a project and so when they approached me about collaborating with this great clothing brand, I was over the moon. I have to admit, the day of the FABB conference I was a little bit off my game because a stomach bug decided to visit me at 3am the night before, so instead I will show you my day through photos. Yesterday Kim and I dashed out to head up to the Fashion and Beauty Blog Conference! The day was be filled with amazing speakers, meeting up with old and new friends and basically breathing everything blogging.
