I’m still in California (just finished up with Coachella) and am now off on a mini road trip with my parents, and Barney of course. I will be sharing photos from my time in Palm Desert this past weekend, but for now here is something I recently wore while running errands around my neighborhood. Lately I’ve been obsessed with silver shoes and have found these to be particularly comfortable. Are you guys into the silver shoe trend or no? Hope you’re having a great week so far! xo

This outfit feels very fall, especially since I am currently in Palm Springs for Coachella with UGG and StyleCaster. More on that soon, but it’s funny to look at this outfit as I type sitting outside in 90 degree weather and think, “wow I wore that much clothing only a couple weeks ago.” The weather in New York is in full transition right now, where it will be 75 one day and then rainy and 50 the next. But I am putting all weather worries out of my mind for the next three days and am going to soak up sun, eat food, listen to good music and hang out with great friends. Life is good – I am one lucky girl. xo

Floral denim has been around for a bit now, but it hasn’t seemed to go anywhere, which is fine by me. I love a good bold, flowery print and when paired with either a basic white v-neck or classic chambray button down, it’s the perfect go-to outfit for a sunny spring day.

brunching in the bywater
Last week, Keiko, Bobby and I met up with some friends in the Bywater to brunch at the yummy Booty’s Street Food. Lucky for me, she was kind enough to snap a couple photos of my new yellow shorts before we ran back in to devour our waffles and eggs!

Today marks the third week of my collaboration with 7FAM jeans! (You can read all about my first and second week and resolutions here and here.) With all the traveling I’ve been doing lately, I’m finding that as much as I need to leave this lovely city from time to time, I also need to start taking more advantage of what it has to offer. There are so many restaurants and bars I haven’t tried, that are literally around the corner from my apartment, and there are certain museums and even monuments that, even though I have lived in New York for 8 1/2 years, I still have not been to. So I’ve decided that I need to take a few weekend staycations, where I visit places like the Transit Museum, BAM and International Center of Photography or enjoy a glass of wine at Blue Ribbon Downing Street Bar and eat at The Little Owl. Basically, vacationing and exploring in my very own city. So here’s to sticking around town! xo
P.S. The white flecks you can see on my sweater was the start of the big snow we just had!
