Curly Girl
Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve had wavy/curly hair. Sometimes unruly, (read, mostly unruly) and other times sultry and cute. But, I can say as an official adult, I have embraced my hair for what it is – sometimes predictable, other times, not so much, but regardless I always love a good wavy look. So, when Paul Mitchell approached me about being involved in their campaign called The Truth About Curls, which is all about the relationship that people have with their curly hair, I automatically said yes! For this post I used Paul Mitchell’s Twirl Around as my main product. But with my hair being so short now, I knew that for a more curl-defined look, I wanted to let my hair air-dry – letting it take it’s natural state – then use my curling iron to define pieces here and there, creating a sleeker, curly-haired-do. The product acted as an amazing placeholder for my curls, letting me feel cute and fun with my new look.

Light to dark
D&G Sunglasses (c/o ShadesDaddy – similar pair here) / Zara Shirt / H&M Shorts / Vince Camuto Shoes / Coach Bag and Watch
Last week I decided to change my hair color and go super dark. I am loving my new rich shade, which is perfect for fall and winter (photos to come tomorrow), but definitely loved my lighter locks that I had all summer long.
Thanks to Arrojo Salon and Flores, my colorist, for always doing such an awesome job with my hair! xo
90s Throwback
J.Crew Panama Hat / Ray-Ban Sunglasses / Vintage Dress / Vintage Coach Bag / Dolce Vita Shoes (thrifted from Beacon’s Closet) / Urban Outfitters Necklace
Just a few photos my Dad snapped back from when I was in Seattle earlier this month. I found this adorable dress in Ballard at a cute little vintage store called Prism, and immediately snatched it up. It totally spoke to my 14-year-old self and I knew I had to have it. I love how flowy and comfortable it is and how it doesn’t even need a belt because it has it’s very own self-sufficient tie in the back. With all that said, if you are a 90s child, you know exactly why this dress is so awesome. xo
A night at the theater
Ray-Ban Sunglasses / Vintage Shirt / F21 Shorts and Earrings / Dolce Vita Shoes (from Beacon’s Closet) / J.Crew Belt and Bangle / Chloé Bag
Wore this outfit to an early dinner and drinks at RN74 with my friend Julia, before heading to the 5th Avenue Theater to see one of my favorite musicals, Rent! Over the years, I’ve seen it twice in New York, but it was pretty great to see it in my hometown, plus we had front row seats. Not too shabby if you ask me. :) Thanks Jules! xo
BaubleBar Style off!
I teamed up with BaubleBar to be a part of their first blogger style off, where myself, along with five other bloggers were asked to style up this necklace any way we wanted. I love BaubleBar (who doesn’t?!) so of course I said yes! The contest ends today, so if you like how I styled this bright and punchy necklace, vote for me here! Thanks for your support!
