My Dad and I had to run some errands yesterday but we ended up driving through Queen Anne and came across these gorgeous cherry tree blossoms…
Outfit Remix: Nicole Miller Red Lace Dress
Outfit Details:
Forever 21 Jacket | Nicole Miller Dress (gifted – similar) | Zara Shoes (similar) | Ray Ban Sunglasses
Remember this little red lace dress from last week’s post? Well you all know that I love a good remix challenge and as much as I loved dressing up this piece with a faux fur jacket and strappy sandals, I wanted to see if I could change the look of it a bit by throwing on a casual, oversized denim jacket and a pair of my favorite pumps. I really loved the outcome and even think my adidas sneakers could look super fun and fresh with this look, for the right occasion. Anyway, let me know what you think! I would love to know how you guys would remix this dress to make it more of a “wearable” piece. Let me know in the comments! xo

GET THE LOOK!
Little White Shirt Dress
Outfit Details:
J.Crew Hat | Illesteva Sunglasses | Forever 21 Choker | OAK Shirtdress | Zara Heels (Steve Madden version) | JustFab Clutch (gift)
I picked up this shirtdress back in late February from a store downtown called OAK, but it’s been too cold to wear it, at least with bare legs. Instead it’s been hanging in my closet waiting for warmer weather to come. So when the cruise opportunity came up in mid-March, it was the perfect chance to finally style it up just the way I wanted.

P.S. I felt like Carrie Bradshaw in the episode where she falls in the lake in Central Park and then she wears Mr. Big’s dress shirt home. Do you guys remember that episode?!
P.P. S. I’ll be sharing my recap video of the cruise on Thursday, (you can subscribe to my channel here) so make sure to check back in! xo
VIDEO: Travel Edition, Get Ready With Me (On A Cruise)!
Hi everyone! Lately, I haven’t been embedding my YouTube videos on the blog, but because I am doing major catch up right now, I wanted to at least share this Get Ready With Me video with you guys in case you wanted to see how I did my makeup on the cruise press trip!
BUT, first off, I want to write a huge DISCLAIMER about something…I had NO idea that the background music would be SO loud! Because I had some issues with the format of this video, it definitely didn’t sound like that when I was editing it, so I apologize if you can’t hear me over the music or if it’s just plain distracting. That was definitely not my intention.
Luckily, it’s a visual breakdown of me getting ready and fairly self-explanatory, so if you would prefer, just turn the sound off! :) You can check out all the products I used, which are linked below and follow along that way if you’d like.
Anyway, thanks for your patience with these silly glitches, but hey you live and you learn right?! :)
Ok, so now onto what this video is actually about! I was lucky enough to go on a press trip with Celebrity Cruises for a week long excursion to the Caribbean.
It was so much fun and I am actually in the midst of editing my travel vlog, which documents the whole trip, so stayed tuned for that to come soon.
The night I created this video, we head up to the very top deck to The Lawn Club Grille for dinner where we proceeded to participate in a pizza making competition! I actually ended up winning with my pepperoni, caramelized onions and mushroom combination! It was SO fun.
Anyway, I guess I just wanted to share how I wore my makeup during the cruise as well as what I wore to that dinner. :) Hope you enjoy, don’t forget to give this video a thumbs up if you liked it, and leave any questions you might have, below! Hugs and happy Friday! xo

Shaping Up With Wacoal
I am not the biggest fan of tight fitting clothing as I am sure many of you know…I basically live in boyfriend jeans and turtlenecks. But that said, I do like the idea and look of body-con skirts when worn and styled correctly.
Case in point, this ankle length, super fitted ribbed skirt with a big slit up the thigh. I scooped it up the other week when I was in Zara and decided to challenge myself by wearing it with something other than an oversized baggy sweater that would totally hide my shape. I started by wearing the skirt without shapewear and I felt okay but definitely not as structured or shapely as I wanted to look.
So I took it a step further and pulled on my Hi- Waist Long Leg Shaper by Wacoal, which creates a nice lift to your seat while shaping your midsection and thighs, redefining and flattering your natural curves. And because they are virtually seamless with leg openings for the smoothest possible look and feel under clothing, no rolling up or bunching happens. So when I pulled the undergarment on, I immediately noticed that everything seemed tighter and more toned looking. Win win!
All of these perks helped boost my confidence in wearing it in the first place and made me feel comfortable enough to pair it with a cropped sleeveless sweater, (progress!) a structured blazer and my favorite high heels. Overall, I felt comfortable (the high-waisted aspect of the shapewear comes up right below your ribs so you can still breathe) and very feminine. What are your thoughts on shapewear? Do you wear it, and if so, how different do you feel when it’s on? Head on over to Wacoal to check out their other awesome shapewear options. Also, I would love to know your thoughts on this so make sure to leave your comments below!

The Reversible Caleen Coat by Kate Spade
Outfit Details:
Kate Spade Coat (gift) | Uniqlo Sweater (this one is only $84 and is available on Shopbop, which is part of their big sale that are currently having) | Artitzia “Daria” Vegan Leather Leggings (similar) | Vince Camuto Boots (gift – mine are sold out but here is another pair I have and love, and they are 50% off!) | Celine Bag
So I know I have been sharing this coat a lot on the blog and on Instagram lately but I just wanted to share these photos that I took with Lydia last month, which show you guys the two different ways this jacket can be worn, since it’s actually reversible. I wore it the furry side out on the blog yesterday, but mostly I’ve been wearing it with the leather on the outside because it does an excellent job of battling the crazy wind chill we’ve been experiencing over the last few weeks. Ok, I digress, but seriously, I love this coat. Thanks again Kate Spade! xo

Furry Cocoon Coat
Outfit Details:
Karen Walker Sunglasses | Kate Spade Reversible Coat (gift – sadly it sold out but shop more coats here) | Frame Jeans (gift) | Zara Shoes (similar style) | Cuyana Bag (gift)
This jacket is currently one of the favorite things I own. It was a generous gift from Kate Spade, (which I wore to the presentation) and it literally kept me warm from the frigid temperatures that we experienced in February (hello wind chill). I love the tinted, gorgeous shade that can look beige, gray or pink depending on the light, plus it’s reversible! I am wearing it the furry side out in these photos but when worn the other way, it has long black leather sleeves with a wide furry lapel and collar. It’s so cozy!

As you can tell, I have been very into neutral palettes lately (don’t worry I still love red and stripes!) but there is something just so chic and subtle about pairing nudes, pastels and white together, don’t you think? xo
