Hello everyone, and happy Tuesday! Today’s post is sponsored by Hanes, which in my opinion is pretty awesome. I have been a fan of the brand for a while now and always have their white ribbed tanks and boxer briefs on hand to slip on when I am just lounging around the house. So needless to say, I was very excited to create this post. I styled up three different outfits wearing Hanes, if you’d like to take a look…
The Weekly Edit: Fall Closet Picks
You guys, I am seriously focused on fall and can’t stop thinking about crisp weather, leather jackets, the changing of the leaves and wool blazers. :)
Last Wednesday’s post was all about autumn-friendly pieces and since I created a video for my YouTube channel today that covers my top ten favorite fall items in my closet that I can’t wait to wear, I thought I would just do a roundup of those items and share it here on the blog!

P.S. For those of you that are not quite ready for fall, fear not. I am heading to Seattle today and then to Santa Fe over Labor Day weekend so get ready for lots more photos of summery, flowy patterned dresses and sandals. :)
On Rotation: The Usual Suspects
Been living in this Panama Hat from J.Crew
I’ve found that I have been wearing a few favorites this summer, so I thought I would just go back over some of the pieces that have been on constant rotation over the past couple months.
This Madewell Tote has been awesome – it carries a lot but still looks classic and chic.
It’s hard to run around the city in heels, so I find that a comfy pair of loafers or Birkenstocks become my best friend. Also, oversized sunglasses are awesome, especially when you are tired because they cover up half your face!

And last but not least, a classic white button down has become a go-to for me because it goes with everything. I can’t wait to layer this shirt under a cute sweater and a pair of skinny jeans for a cute autumn ensemble. xo
The Nolitan Hotel
I recently spent some time at the lovely Nolitan Hotel in Nolita and immediately fell in love. The rooms are bright and cheery with great views and some even have little balconies looking out over Kenmare Street. The lobby is super stylish, complete with leather couches, bicycles and funky lighting. I wanted to sit there all day in one of the large oversized leather chairs and just read the paper. If you need a great place to stay in the city, I definitely recommend checking out this cute little spot.

How To Wear A Blazer Vest
I’ve been wearing sleeveless blazer vests for a while now and have always felt like they are extremely versatile and the perfect piece to throw on over anything. So when Le Tote asked me to style this vest by BB Dakota, I couldn’t wait. I kept the look simple by wearing black, white and neutral pieces, which kept the overall outfit chic yet still classic and easy to wear.
Outfit Details:
Vest: BB Dakota (via Le Tote) / Tank: Club Monaco (old) / Jeans: Forever 21 / Shoes: Zara / Bag: Celine

Grand Opening: ARROJO Williamsburg
A few weeks ago, I decided my hair needed a serious change. It was currently red and as much as I loved it, I was ready to lighten it up for the upcoming summer months. So, I called upon my beloved salon, ARROJO, where I have been getting my hair done for the past four years, and booked an appointment.
The salon recently opened up a new location in Williamsburg, (I usually go to the Varick location) so I headed out their to check it out. I was placed with two amazing girls, Francesca for color and Clare for cut. I knew I wanted to try balayage and couldn’t wait to see the final outcome of my new ‘do.
My girls!
Here is Francesca “painting” my hair.
Almost done…
Now for a much-needed cut with Clare.
Finally, the process is complete!
The salon just had their official grand opening party last night, so I showed up a little early to get my roots touched up by Francesca, and my hair styled by the amazing guest stylist, Paul. (He does hair for the Victoria’s Secret shows!!!) He taught me all sorts of tips and tricks on how to get a beachy wave and what product to use that won’t weigh them down. (He recommends this and this!)
I am so over the moon happy with my hair and I love how it feels sun-kissed, beachy and perfect for summer.
The party was packed and super fun. Casey came and met me after work and afterwards we had pizza at Motorino, which was really yummy. All in all, a great night! Congrats, ARROJO, on your new beautiful salon and THANK YOU for amazing hair color and cut!
If you guys are ever in the area, or even if you aren’t, make the trip to Williamsburg and check it out, it’s worth it! xo

Let me just say that I adore every piece of this outfit. So, I strongly suggest you click below to see the full look! Happy Thursday!
