Hello dearies! So, remember when I wore this flowery number with my black skirt a few weeks ago, and then before that when I just wore it just by itself? Well, as a huge fan of layering jumpers/rompers/onesies, I wanted to try out my newly shorted blue skirt with this lovely floral piece. I think it makes for a really sweet top, plus the yellow belt helps tie the two items together while bringing out the dashes of color in the print of the one-piece. I wore this over to a family BBQ last week and stayed nice and cool in the heat while we ate a yummy dinner out on the patio. Outfit Remix: Turquoise Tunic
I was organizing my photos and totally forogt this fun outfit I wore a couple weeks ago. Remember how I originally wore this tunic here and then later on, here? I am really taken with the interesting contrast of the bright turquoise against the stark black and white. Just seeing this photo makes me fall in love with the outfit all over again. Just a fun way to shake up a basic tunic!
My Outfit:
Necklace:
Tunic: Greece
Skirt: F21
Bracelet: Gift from a friend
Ring: F21
Shoes: Nine West bought at Daffy’s
Brilliant Bell Bottoms
How awesome are these bell bottoms? A lucky find at the lovely Tar-jay. The best part? When I wear my very highest wedges, the hems just barely graze the ground and cover my shoes, which I like to think makes my legs look endlessly long.
P.S. Check out my wooden earrings! I didn’t get a chance to take a detail shot, but more to come soon on where I got them.

DIY: Hems into Hat Bands
It all started with this sweet little sundress…
With all the recent dress alterations that my Grandmother did, I had lots of fabric/hems left over and decided to put them to good use. Thank goodness she saved them! Here’s what I did:
I repeated this process four more times and now have a total of five new fabulous hat bands! To see all the different hat bands that came from all the different dress hems, click below!
My After Outfit/Remix: Blue Skirt
You guys remember these three items, right? My floral sundress, blue skirt and, of course, my Melissa shoes! Well, ever since I got my little denim skirt back from my Grandmother—shortened and, in my opinion, much more flattering—I decided to have some fun with layering different pieces under it. In this case, I wanted to play with items I had already worn and blogged about and see if I could consolidate multiple pieces into one single outfit. Et, volia! This ensemble is my first go at it. The best part? I got to try out my new purple Melissa shoes! To see the full outfit, click below!
My Outfit: Creamsicle Crush
The other day, I swung into this adorable vintage shop (more details to come on that soon!) with my Mom, that had amazing dresses, boots, belts, jackets and purses. This amazing striped number was one gem that I grabbed off the rack, as well as two other dresses, a fab belt and a light leafy green purse that happened to have my first initial on it! (Photos of everything to come!) Anyway, I want to know whether or not you think this piece is a skirt or shorts? Find out by clicking below!
Sneak Peak: DIY Project!
My Outfit: Easy Peasy
Happy Friday everyone! What does this sunny day have in store for you? I am very happy inb this outfit, I must say. It is such an easy breezy dress, perfect for running errands and trying on new clothes! I am hopefully going to hit up Target today with my Mom, which is a huge treat for me since there isn’t one in Manhattan, although the one in Brooklyn in not far. :) To spice up this basic black dress I decided to add a fun retro denim vest and of course, my beloved straw hat. I am already brainstorming on how to remix this dress, so stay tuned for photos to come!
