This weekend was so beautiful. I spent mine mostly in Williamsburg, eating avocado toast, playing scrabble and taking walks down by the river. The city skyline views are pretty incredible from across the way. What did you guys do? Hopefully something fun and equally relaxing. :) xo

This past weekend was one full of spontaneity and unexpected fun. I spent time with old friends and made new ones, celebrated two different Birthday parties in Brooklyn and enjoyed a cozy Sunday meal at The Meatball Shop in Williamsburg.

Hello, hello and happy Wednesday! In just a bit, I am running to an appointment with Anthropologie, then meeting up with my client who is in from Australia. On Monday we hit up places like J.Crew and Madewell for cute basics but today I plan on taking her to a few of my other favorite stores and boutiques in the West Village, such as Otte, Rag & Bone and Intermix for a different type of shopping experience.
As for my outfit, I thought it would be fun to share with you what I wore today and why.
Outfit breakdown: I’ve been living in my leather pants and go-to denim but today decided I wanted to break out the ol’ camo pants. I worked my way from there and opted for this cute new tee I picked up from Madewell and an oversized denim jacket from Zara. I could have added brighter accessories but instead kept them neutral and wore a bright orange lip for a pop of color.

“New Yawk…Where Dreams Are Made”
So, apparently I loved this bag so much and was so incredibly devastated when it was stolen that I ended up re-buying it. It was the last one at Nordstrom and I just couldn’t let it go. But by losing it the first time around, it helped me realize how much I actually used it and would reach for it daily, and how often I wasn’t reaching for some of my other bags. This prompted me to think about selling a few of them in the near future and I was curious if you guys would be interested? Let me know! xo
How was everyone’s weekend? On Saturday, I met up with a new client who is in town visiting from Australia – I can’t wait to take her shopping this week. Afterward, I hung out with friends in the sun for a few hours before eventually making my way to a late dinner at Upstate Craft Beer and Oyster Bar. I highly recommend trying this spot – the oysters were amazing. Then on Sunday, I met friends for a very decadent and leisurely Easter brunch at The Top of The Standard. By the time we finished up, it was already late afternoon, but a few of us decided to change and head up to Levain in Harlem. It was pretty amazing because there was no line for their incredible cookies! But, that might have been because we got there 10 minutes before they closed. Once we had dessert, we thought it might be a good idea to get some actual dinner so we stopped into The Cecil for gumbo, broiled prawns and some collard greens. I finished up my weekend by being lazy in bed and making my way through the first season of Game of Thrones. So intense and so addicting!

Just a quick hello to say have a happy Friday! I thought I would take a quick snap of what I wear on a casual day of running errands, working from home and easing into my weekend.
Outfit breakdown: This t-shirt is incredibly soft and has a worn-in feel that I love, which is perfect for feeling comfortable while still looking cute and pulled together. Same goes for these boyfriend jeans – they are loose but still hang well on my hips and have the perfect amount of distressing going on. And last but not least, my trusty New Balance sneakers. I have been living in them over the past couple weeks and my feet couldn’t be happier. :)
