After the pouring rain we experienced in Santa Barbara the other day, I finally woke up to the sun shining and birds chirping. We took advantage of the weather by exploring UCSB’s campus where my Mom went to college back in the day, then I met up with a couple of good friends for lunch downtown. Later on, back at the ranch, the light was so pretty, and with the evenings staying lighter longer it was the perfect time to photograph my new floral shorts and printed top I found at F21. Aren’t the little sailboats cute? xo

These photos were taken by my Dad outside on the property of this pretty ranch where we are currently staying in Santa Barbara. It is so beautiful here, even though it rained all day yesterday. We made the best of it of course, by partaking in some light shopping in Montecito (love the stores Dressed, and Ready!), then wine tasting in the town of SB, followed by a yummy dinner at Baja Fresh. We wrapped up our rainy Sunday by heading back home where we sat on the couch and sipped tea, while eating dessert and playing scrabble (we actually played the real game and not Words With Friends!). Hope your Monday is off to a great start! xo
